Taarak Mehta is one of the most popular characters in the Indian entertainment space. For the past 14 years and more, he has been entertaining and talking to the audience through “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah”, a show created and authored by Mr. Asit Kumarr Modi.

It is now time to welcome Sacchin Shrof as the new Taarak Mehta in the show. Welcoming him, Mr. Asit Kumarr Modi said, “I warmly welcome Sacchin to our Gokuldhaam family. He brings in the right mix of warmth and aura to the persona of Taarak Mehta. I am sure the viewers will enjoy his performance as the new Taarak Mehta. Comments Sachin Shroff, "entire team and cast of Taarak Mehta has been very very supportive. Asit ji has been giving me tips about the character everytime we spoke- about his mannerism, his style, his approach. It helped me to understand the character. When I started the shoot then it became very comfortable to get under the skin of Taarak Mehta and play him."

Upon being asked about Shailesh Lodha’s exit, Mr. Modi commented, “We have had a long and wonderful association with Shailesh Lodha which will always be cherished. I wish him the best for all his future endeavours."

If the show’s track record is anything to go by, actor Sacchin Shrof will slot right into the cast bringing his dynamism and candour to the already exuberant character of Taarak Mehta. His debut episode is set to go live tonight on Sony SAB and we could not be more excited to watch him with the rest of the starcast.

The book launch of TRISHALA: Born a Prostitute by Sharmila Banerjee was held in Mumbai, Maharastra on August 12, 2022 at Title waves book store. The book was inaugurated by Shri Amee Yajnik Member of Rajya Sabha. The event was attended by high profile personalities like Utpal Acharya CEO Content Engineer, Aneel Murarka CEO of Ample Missiion, Sudeep Banerjee famous Ghazal singer and high profile media industry veterans. Trishala, “Born A Prostitute”, tells the story of a young girl named Trishala, who is born in a community which is into Caste Based Prostitution. She was initiated into this profession when she was just 12 years old with the Nath-Utarna Ceremony, and sold to the highest bidder for the night. Since then, every night she had to entertain a new customer. Trishala had never experienced a world outside her village and had a deep longing for true love.

Trishala’s village Kashipur was the badlands between Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, it is a dystopic underbelly, and a regressive crime infested matriarchal community.

Siddharta, a business tycoon with a dejected past, accidentally lands himself in Kashipur and crosses paths with Trishala, which awakens true love in her. At the same time, a fiery journalist Samera and an IPS officer Abhishek are investigating a spate of kidnappings in the same area. Destiny brings Sidharta, Samera and Abhishek together, as they find themselves entangled in a bloody feud between two rival gangs of Kashipur, a multi-million-dollar drug and human trafficking nexus, and a crime infested regressive community. How this colossal endeavour unfolds, and Trishala’s journey of realization and rebellion, forms the crux of the story.

Dr. Sharmila Banerjee has over 30 years of experience in Media Industry. She started her career as a Print journalist and wrote many feature articles on Politics, Social issues with special emphasis on women’s issues in Times Group, Indian Express, DNA , Business Standard and Financial express. She was a television journalist in TV Today covering feature stories. Sharmila spent her next phase of career as a Marketing and Communications Group head in large corporate like Modi Entertainment[ Disney &ESPN] , L&T, Hinduja Group, JSW Group to mention a few.

She is a writer and film maker by passion and written, directed and produced more than 3000 hours of content on various streaming platforms. She has written, Directed and produced fictionalized series for DOORDARSHAN. All her other films written and Directed by her have accolades from all over the Globe.

She is currently CEO of Green Chillies TV, a pan India Satellite and Cable Channel. She is also Chairperson of International Women’s Leaders Forum.

She is recipient of more than 23 National and International Leadership Awards along with receiving various awards for her films and series.

            उपर्युक्त संस्थाने बुधवार दिनांक २८ जुलाई २०२२ को शाम ०५.०० बजे आषाढ अमावस्या निमित्त दीप पुजा कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया था|  इस कार्यक्रम में एक टेबल पर विविध आकार के विविध धातू के दीये जलाएँ गये थे| उसमे मिट्टी के, चीनी माटी के, पत्थरो के, विविध प्रकार के धातुओं के दीये भी शामिल थे बिजली पर चलने वाले दीये भी पुजा स्थान पर रखे गये थे|  विद्यार्थीयोंने अपनी कक्षा संघ के साथ आकर दीये की पुजा की गई| प्रार्थना बोलकर एकाग्रता से विविध दीये का निरिक्षण किया गया था|  विद्यार्थीयो को यह त्यौहार क्यो मनाना चाहिए और दीये के विविध प्राकर की जानकारी उन्हें दी गई|  विद्यार्थीयोंकी एकाग्रता बढाने के लिए उन्हें दीये की लौंको निरंतर देखने से एकाग्रता कौशल्य बढाने के लिए प्रशिक्षण दिया गया|  बिजली का योग्य उपयोग और बिजली बचत करना इसकी भी जानकारी दी गई|  दीया खुद जलकर दुसरों को रोशनी देता है|  अपने जीवन में भी हमें दुसरो के भलाई के लिए चुने हुए महात्माओं के विचारों को इस दिन स्मरण करना चाहिए|  इत्यादी मार्गदर्शन विद्यार्थीयों को दिया गया| 

            स्कूल के सुबह और दोपहर अधिवेशन के मराठी, सेमी अग्रेंजी और अग्रेंजी माध्यम के कुल अंदाज से १२०० के गट में विर्द्थ्यायों ने इस कार्यक्रम मे सहभाग लिया|  शिवाजी शिक्षण संस्था के तरफ से यह कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया| 

            ३०० बच्चों ने एकसाथ सहभागी होकर ५०० से अधिक दिये एक ही समय प्रज्वलित करके एकाग्रता बढाने के लिए कार्यक्रम शाम ०५.०० बजे स्कूल के विद्यार्थीयों के लिए आयोजित किया गया|  सरस्वती स्तोत्र, गायत्री मंत्र, दीपजोती स्तुती आदि देव नमस्तुभ्यम और शांतिमंत्र का पठन और ध्यान साधना से विद्यार्थीयों की एकाग्रता को बढाने की पाठ पढाया गया.....

The jury was filled with celebrity fashion designers, directors and fashion business owners like Mr. Tabish Mistry, Mr. leon from karleo, Ms. Shubh Malhotra and Mr Tapan Vyas.

The institute also invited fashion influencers like Kaavya Vurity and Bollywood actors Annuop Chaudhari and many more.

Three Times National awards and honoured with India's fourth-highest civilian honor Padma Shri winning actor Manoj Bajpayee will be off to the USA for a month after completing 5 projects in June and before his starts another slate of films will take a month break after finishing Devashish Makhija's JORAM which is in the last leg of the schedule to spend some quality time with his family.

The finest actor Manoj who has several movies lined up for himself through the year, has now decided to take some time off from his busy schedule for a month and instead spend time with his wife Shabana & daughter, Ava Nayla & usually ensures that his daughter gets to spend her summer vacations with daddy dearest.

The actor believes that a father and daughter relationship is a very special one and in spite of his erratic schedules, it is his priority to spend time with his family

Meanwhile, Manoj has several projects in the pipeline including the thriller drama Joram, directed by Devashish Makhija, Gulmohar by Rahul chittella co starring Sharmila Tagore Amol Palekar, RSVP's Despatch directed by Kanu Behl, Abhishek Chaubeys’s film with Konkana Sen, Sayaji Shinde,Naseer sir.
