Dr Anju Kapoor and Mr. Harry Kurup launched their new fictional book, ’Seven Personas of Eve’ on Saturday, 22nd June 2019 at Crossword, Kemp’s Corner. Well known personality, Tahira Kashyap Khurrana was the Guest of Honour for the event.
The book is going to be a collection of short seven stories about normal struggling women who everyday face different challenges, yet always rise like a phoenix.
On asking, what is the difference between a novel and a film writing? Tahira replied, "Both of them are creative writing. But if you ask me, the main difference is the length of the story. In novel writing, you can always have a lot to think and write about, where as in film writing, you will always be constrained to write for a particular time. However both are dear to me and both have their own charm.”
The event was followed by the students of the college performing a dance on a number of songs. The book was later signed by the authors for the audience, who bid a heartwarming farewell to everyone.
Tahira Kashyap is extremely famous for her novel, 'I Promise'. She has also written another book with her husband Ayushmann Khurrana named ‘Cracking the code:My Journey in Bollywood’.
